About our speaker:
Maureen earned her B.A. in religion from the University of South Carolina in 1974, her M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1978 and her M.S. in political science from Auburn University in 1993. She served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1979 to 2009 (retiring as Captain) with a specialty in electronic communications. Maureen Copelof has been Mayor of Brevard for 3 years after winning election in 2021, and before served on City Council for four years.
