Join us for Business After Hours from 5:00-7:00pm! Held on the second Tuesday of each month, members come together for an evening networking reception. A brief program includes recognition of the host, announcements, new member introductions and door prizes. This event is ideal for a business or organization who wants to show off its facilities.
This months event will be hosted by The Bromfield Inn. Kari and Sandra Kurtz, a mother and daughter team, have recently purchased the established Bromfield Inn and have begun their innkeeping careers. Sandra has been a resident of Lake Toxaway for over 30 years. Daughter Kari is a commercial real estate broker in Tampa, FL but splits her time for now. Kari is very familiar with Brevard, and it feels like home, as she has visited for years and spent many summers and holidays here.
Both women have an extensive background in real estate and property management and have built their reputation of exceptional customer service (and now exceptional breakfasts!). They bring their knowledge of the area, and their enjoyment of people and entertaining to their new careers as innkeepers.
The historic Bromfield Inn was built in 1926 during the Great Gatsby era by prominent businessman James S. Bromfield. In 2006, this elegant colonial revival masterpiece was restored to its original splendor while incorporating modern amenities throughout. The Inn features 6 guest bedrooms with en suite baths, formal dining room, parlor, library, beautiful veranda, and landscaped courtyards, all nestled on two park-like acres in historic Downtown Brevard.
