The NC DOT mission is to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
Vicki Eastland is the Transportation Planner for The Land of Sky Rural Planning Organization (LOSRPO), a rural transportation planning organization housed at the Land of Sky Regional Council (LOSRC). Steve Williams is the Division 14 Corridor Development Engineer with the NC DOT Office of Strategic Initiatives & Program Support.

The Brevard Music Center, located on a serene 180-acre campus in Western North Carolina, is a vibrant summer institute and festival that brings together gifted young musicians and accomplished professionals. Students, diverse in age and background, engage in intensive practice, rehearsals, and a demanding concert schedule, aiming to achieve high artistic levels under the guidance of professional musicians and faculty members. This transformative seven-week experience focuses on creativity, teamwork, self-discipline, and superior work ethic, supported by a community that includes passionate trustees, employees, donors, volunteers, and audiences.
